The 2011 Waco Conference Committee is ready for the Conference.  The 2011 Conference 'Justice in Motion, Deep in the Heart of Texas' is sure to be an educational and exciting event. The Conference will be held at the beautiful Waco Hilton Hotel.

CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE:
TCCA Conference Certification Credit hours: TCCA will award 20 hour certificates only to those clerks who attend all of the educational sessions and the annual business meeting at the TCCA Conference. Clerks who chose not to attend an educational session or the business meeting will not receive a certificate. TCCA board members will monitor attendance during the educational sessions and the business meeting. This will be done in an effort to address concerns brought to the board regarding attendance requirements. Certificates will be awarded at the end of the conference. Clerks must be present to claim their certificate and clerks who did not attend all of the educational sessions and the business meeting will not receive a certificate.

o Verify you have renewed your TCCA Membership (All memberships expired on Dec 31st)

o April 1: TCCA Scholarship Committee Begins accepting TCCA Conference Scholarship Applications. The TCCA Certification Education Committee is offering up to $650 in a scholarship for attendance to the 2011 Conference. 

o April 10: The Waco Hilton Hotel begins accepting reservations for the 2011 TCCA Conference October 10 -12, 2011, King/Single rate is $88.00 and the Double Occupancy rate for 2 Queens is $119.00 Call (254)754-8484 to make your reservations. Space is limited at the Special Rate.

o May 1: TCCA Begins accepting Bids for the 2014 Annual Conference. Cities interested in hosting this conference will need to contact Tammy Odom, TCCA President or call (979)548-3325 so that your bid presentation can be included on the 2011 Business Meeting agenda.

o May 1:  TCCA Begins accepting Nominations for TCCA Awards. We have many deserving clerks in our Association and we need you to let us know about them.  They do not need to be present in Waco to receive an award.

o May 1: TCCA Begins accepting Nominations for TCCA Board of Director Positions: Vice President, Treasurer and Three (3) Director at Large Positions.

o May 15: TCCA Bylaws Committee Announces Proposed Bylaw Changes set for voting on the 2011 Voting Ballot. (The changes are indicated in Red).

o May 15: TCCA Begins accepting Conference Registration Forms for The 2011 TCCA Conference in Waco.

o August 1: The Voting Polls Open. TCCA Begins Electronic Voting.
