How We Operate |
The Texas Court Clerks Association (TCCA) is a statewide professional organization dedicated to supporting municipal and justice court clerks through education, leadership development, networking opportunities, and professional certification. Since its founding in 1972, TCCA has served as a resource for court professionals across Texas by promoting excellence in court administration and public service. Governance and LeadershipTCCA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board provides strategic direction for the association, oversees organizational business, and works to ensure that TCCA continues to meet the evolving needs of court professionals throughout Texas. Members also serve through committees, regional leadership positions, and volunteer opportunities that help advance the goals of the association. Education and Professional DevelopmentOne of TCCA's primary functions is providing educational opportunities that support professional growth and certification. Through conferences, regional training events, testing opportunities, study sessions, and partnerships with organizations such as the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC), TCCA helps members develop the knowledge and skills necessary to serve their courts and communities effectively. Member EngagementTCCA's success is driven by the active participation of its members. Members contribute through committees, educational programs, regional activities, mentoring, and leadership roles. This collaborative approach allows court professionals from across the state to share best practices, exchange ideas, and support one another in addressing the challenges of today's court environment. Serving Courts Across TexasThrough its network of regions, educational programs, and statewide leadership, TCCA provides a forum for communication, collaboration, and professional support. The association works to strengthen the court clerk profession while fostering consistency, professionalism, and excellence in the administration of justice throughout Texas. |
