IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong leadership and communication skills. They will be comfortable managing complex case flows, resolving high-level customer concerns, and presenting data-driven operational insights to management.

The City seeks a leader who demonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to public service while providing operational oversight of court divisions, offering strong leadership and supervision to personnel, and maintaining diligent financial and budgetary control.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

An associate’s degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of certifications and experience will be considered.

Candidates should possess at least three years of professional experience in local government, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory or lead role within a Municipal Court setting.

Applicants must be CJIS certifiable and possess a Texas Municipal Courts Level 2 certification (TMCEC) , as well as a valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The City of North Richland Hills provides a competitive starting salary of approximately $74,000, aligned with the qualifications, experience, and leadership capabilities of the selected candidate. The City participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System at a 7% employee contribution rate with a 2:1 City matching ratio. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, including a full range of leave and insurance benefits, a 457 deferred compensation plan, and a flexible spending account.
