Knowledge of legal language and legal procedures related to municipal court functions;
Knowledge of the collection, accounting and submission of court fines, cost and fees.
Knowledge of general office procedures;
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices;
Knowledge of criminal, traffic and infraction procedures;
Knowledge of Windows, MS Word and Excel required;
Skill in the operation of the listed tools and equipment;
Ability to effectively communicate on a one‑to‑one basis with the public;
Ability to maintain effective working relations with employees, other departments, officials and public;
Ability to type and enter data accurately and to maintain accurate records;
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
Ability to speak effectively before groups of citizens, customers or employees of the organization;
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs;
